Brothers and sisters in the Hesed fellowship are mostly first generation singles and couples that have children toddler age to early teens age. Most of us are originally from Asia, coming from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore with a few from Germany and locally.
We start off our regular weekly program with a potluck dinner at 6:15p.m. Worship, time is then followed by scripture discussions. Our fellowship actively host festival dinners with an outreach purpose such as Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas Dinner, Alpha Dinner Party (in partnership with the Alpha Outreach), and Chinese New Year Hot Pot. With many growing kids, and active singles in the fellowship, we have a variety of activities such as weekly badminton games, annual camping retreats, ski trips, and ad-hoc hiking trips. There are special weeks of the year that we participate in church programs such as Missionary Conference, Christmas Program, and the Alpha Course. Serving together as a body of Christ in the many facets of opportunities that God has provided enabled brothers and sisters to experience God's love, to grow in our spiritual life, to draw closer to God and with one another.
